How to Speed Up or Slow Down a Video: 0.5× to 2×

Choose a playback speed, calculate the expected duration and check the actual export before using it in your project.

Choose a source and a speed from 0.5×, 0.75×, 1.25×, 1.5× or 2×.
Estimate new duration as source duration divided by speed. A 20-second source becomes about 10 seconds at 2×.
Process and check the H.264 MP4 and any audio. This re-encodes the file and does not create new captured detail for slow motion.
